I build software and model businesses. Usually for the same project. I'm a senior at Wilfrid Laurier studying Computer Science and Business Administration, and I co-founded Rivo Careers in late 2025, where I ship the engineering and own the financial model. Before that, I analyzed 200+ daily securities transactions at Co-operators Insurance and automated clinical deployments at a regional health network. I carry both halves because most interesting problems live at the seam.

Rivo Careers
Architected a full-stack career platform with 64 API routes across 6 domains. Built a real-time AI mock interview system with a lip-synced humanoid avatar, live speech transcription, and automated evaluation. Built a two-phase ML job matching engine combining NLP resume scoring with behavioral signals. Orchestrated a daily aggregation pipeline that sources, deduplicates, and validates thousands of Canadian internship listings.

Writing.
For the web I reach for Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind, with Supabase or Postgres behind it. For anything with data I live in Python, pandas, and SQL. For quantitative work or anything a desk will actually open, I stay in Excel and VBA. I'm comfortable in Java, C, C++, Go, R, and Assembly from coursework, and I've shipped production work in C# and Bash. I use Shiki, Stripe, WebRTC, and a rotating cast of LLM APIs when projects need them.
Current editor: VS Code + Claude Code. Current terminal: zsh + starship.

I'm finishing my senior year at Laurier (graduating April 2027) and looking for Fall 2026 co-op roles. I'm interested in software engineering, investment analysis, or anything that lets me work across both. If you have something that fits, I'd like to hear about it.
